Happy Bookends

a few weeks ago, my therapist suggested that I “bookend” unpleasant activities with pleasant ones

i think this might be a useful strategy for managing the first two weeks of my ivf

which will likely be filled with early morning blood tests and ultrasounds (up to every other day!)

and lots of sticking myself with needles

here’s what i’ve got so far

get a haircut

    Knitting? Crocheting?? A good book? Maybe Skyping over coffee with a friend who lives in . . . say . . . the Denver area?? It’s not the same as breakfast but it’s something πŸ™‚
